What is the best integration option (DPT, APT, inband, none) that can be used with the DBS 824 and TVA50? And how is it wired on the DBS end? Is an SLTA required? Thanks!

Inband with single line ports. The TVA was not intended for the DBS series. It can be cobbled in as a basic voice mail.

Yes you will need 2 analog stations on dbs to connect to tvs and it actually works ok with dbs you use inband signalling and you tell tvs to integrate as other system and you set follow on id and message waiting light on and off sequence and you put both of the vm exts into its own hunt group and set your exts to fwd busy/no answer and thats basically it ...
