does the conftel 50 conference set work when connected to a 1408 digital telephone? ip office basic partner mode 8.1.63 with combo port card and analog trunks. there is no dial on the unit so it requires a telephone set to interface with. does the 1408 work?

Looking at the user guide to the Konftel 50, it looks like you unplug the handset cord from the phone and plug the K50 into it. So it should work with any phone.

yes, i read that also. it only specifies a "system" telephone. i was wondering if anyone has actually successfully connected a 1408 to it .

It's "Konftel"

I have never used one on a 1408, but as stated above it should work with no problem.
It connects through the handset cord of the phone.
