I added a phone to station 216 and when you call it from other stations it gives a busy, the phone is not in DND. Any ideas

Call FROM the new station to a display phone and verify the station's extension number.
If the new phone is a display phone, leave the handset in the cradle, dial FEAT, 99 and the display will show the port and assigned extension number.
If all of THIS checks out, you may have a numbering conflict or another extension assigned 216
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
