Upgrading the software for a CTX/CIX 100 does not require eManager but should be left to a certified Toshiba tech because if you did it wrong you can brick the processor.

I'm with Tom, Call a Dealer or you will be shopping for a new Processor! I didn't see any installers listed on this website yet, but you can go to https://www.telecom.toshiba.com and click on Dealer Locator.

Back to my workbench project: They tell me I have the right update ver. and NeManager ver. I formatted the SMSD in my computer so I know it starts out blank, then I install it into CTX100. I can force format, backup the SMSD card & I don't see these files or folders in NeManager on the split screen. If I unmount and put the card in my computer I can see these files are on the card. It appears the card is not being read by the processor. This may be the reason the processor doesn't update. Any suggestions I can try on my own? I would really like to figure this out. You mention bricking the processor what are the signs of this? Is this because of using the wrong software or what else?

As suggested above, you really should leave this to a trained Toshiba tech. This is not something you can or should do on your own. You know when your processor is bricked when the phones are dead and you can't get it back to normal.

SUCCESS!!! AFTER READING THE PROGRAMING MANUAL A FEW TIMES I DECIDED THAT EMANAGER WON'T WORK ON THAT OLD OF SOFTWARE USING REMOTE UPDATE. I GOT THE RIGHT UPGRADE FILE FOR (LOCAL)3.10-MK063. THEY ARE DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON WEATHER YOU ARE DOING REMOTE OR LOCAL UPDATE. I DID LOCAL UPDATE AND FOLLOWED THE PROGRAMING MANUAL FOR CIX-100 RELEASE 3 & OLDER. MAKE (2) SMSD CARDS AND IT ALL WORKED. BE PATIENT AND LET EACH STEP FINISH AND COME OUT OF PROGRAMING BY ITSELF. REMEMBER TO UNMOUNT THE DISK BEFORE REMOVING IT. LOCAL PROGRAMING IS ALL DONE THROUGH BUTTON PROGRAMING. AFTERWARDS YOU CAN USE EMANAGER TO CONNECT AND DO ANY OTHER REMOTE PROGRAMING. I COULD THEN TURN ON CALLER ID. THANKS FOR THE HELP I GOT. DD782
