hi guys. i have a customer with sts ksu and flash voicemail. they have several extensions with dial by name. all work but one the last name starts with a p. when p is dialed on the dialpad it gives a first (dial 1) choice with no name and then dial 2 for the one it should have. dialing 1 gets a busy signal. they only have one in the directory starting with p. anyone have an idea whats up. thanks dave ps we dont have anyone with a name starting with q,r, or s either

It sounds like they have an old extension that no longer exists. It may not start with a "P", either. It could start with a Q,R,or S, since all 4 characters fall under the "7" key on the dial pad. The one that is no longer in use must not have a name recorded in it.

i was thinking the same thing but none of the mailboxes have names with p, q, r, or s. i am thinking it may have a data base error in it. i hate to default it.
