Hi, Im trying to connect a statically assigned 8660 LAN address 192.168.51.150 to IPRC card LAN address 192.168.1.165 through a PTP T-1 through a cisco 3660 router (just routing, no firewall). It says remote IPC card not found. If I bring the phone back to the 1. subnet its happy again. 8660 phones using the 1.3 firmware connecting to an IPRC w/ 1.3 firmware are fine across this WAN link!! I'm not sure why its not happy??

Well, have you programmed the 8660 'Remote IPC Address'? The other things to check are each devices gateway. If the fone works on the IPRC LAN, then it's gateway, remote IPC or router programming is suspect as none of these are needed for the fone to work on the LAN.

Hi Peter: If you have computers available, sometimes it's much easier to check your IP & Gateway configuration by taking the phone devices out of the loop and replacing them with laptops. I think you may quickly find that you have a gateway or subnet issue. BTW, to the board!

Ok cool,
I'll have to concentrate on those possibilities and see what I've done wrong on this. Thanks for the replies.
