We just took over a Definity and I'm a bit rusty. They are using SIP features from a local ILEC which allows their DID's to ring simultaneously through their PRI and their cellphones. This works as is. When a call comes into the main number and the call is transferred to an extension, I am told it used to ring to their phone, then their cellphone, then get answered by their Voicemail in the office. The phones are in Coverage Group 10 as the primary and that send them to VM. Their second Cover has been set to their extension number which is setup as a forwarding offsite to their cellphone.

What I have found is that the forwarding will work internally if I remove CCG 10 and replace it with their extension number but then direct calls to their DID get a second dialtone which cannot be used.

Any suggestions would be welcome. Sorry if I used wrong terminology for the system.

Got me a little confused..What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
It sounds like cover path 10 was set to :
1. Ring ext
2. Remote Cov. to cell
3. Cover to voicemail ( internal)

They also had a second cover path to switch too?

What release Definity are you working with? Rel? Ver?

I'll get the specific info for your questions once I am onsite again. I am told that calls transferred to the extensions used to forward to their cellphones, but it doesn't work anymore.
