Our non-profit acquired a Toshiba CTX100 with a Teleco Tis16. We are using CTX WinAdmin to set it up. The Tis Card is showing a green light, however no voicemail is working anywhere. When viewing the card assignments in Winadmin it shows "no card" for that slot. What does it need to be assigned for the Strata to recongnize it? I have checked the setup manual for tis16 and it doesnt talk about it anywhere.

TIS16 is the same voicemail as an ies32 and was told that Teleco makes the ies32, ies16 FOR Toshiba, don't know, was just told that.
Program for an ies32, you should be fine.

Thanks for everyones help, Im still having problems. Here is what I have done so far.
I have assigned the TIS 16 card as a RSTU, BSTU or IVP8 in Winadmin card assignment.
In Program 579 Ive changed 01 DN VMID 02 Auto & Access Code Cancel 03, 04, 07 Enabled 10 555 16 555 17 10
In Program 580 01 Select SMDI 02, 04 Enable
Im still getting nothing from the TIS, cant dial into it, program it or nothing. What am I doing wrong?
thanks, Mike

If it programs like an iES32, then you have to assign the card slot as a BWDKU/iES32 for digital stations.

It needs to be assigned as a analog car and you use hyper terminal to program. It is nothing like the IES32

you can prog all the versions of cards with hyper terminal but its a lot easier to use the admin gm especially if you don't really know what your looking at the only version admin gm wont work on is the new version of the tis that you have to use rj45 cable to connect to

Is there a way to ping the card to ensure I have it as the right assignment? Nothing seems to be working, I can see the light sequence when it boots, but other than that..cant communicate with it.

Alternatively, if there is anyone who could walk me over the phone? I have called around here locally and no one works on these phone systems (small town). Help!
