Customer has an XTS with about 30 phones, half of them the 24-button Triad phones and the other half the usual 30-button. New user is on a 24-button and his phone doesn't ring when calls are transferred to it, either by the VM or internally when the HTP switch is on T. The speakerphone works and the intercom tone on H or P works, but when it should be ringing, you only hear a single speaker pop and then silence until the call goes to VM.
Tried a different port, different phone, checked the programming... what am I missing here?

Maybe the ring tone has been changed to "none"? Try dialing 695 + 00, then press the speed button at the station and see if that helps.

i checked the ring tone in flash 51 but i'll give your suggestion a try...
