I have a TalkPath 305-04 that I got as part of an Ebay deal. It did not come with the power adapter (and the seller can't find it). I have a 12VAC power adapter in my shop but I don't know if it can deliver enough milliamps (it's rated for 1000mA). Does anyone know the correct milliamp spec for a standard 305-04 power adapter? I tried the power adapter from my shop, and it seems to work for a short time and then the vm hangs. I realize that could be a number of things, but I thought the easiest thing would be to rule out the power adapter, except I can't find the milliamp spec anywhere in the documentation or online. I called Aztec and they said it's not printed on their replacement power adapters (which I find hard to believe).

eBay, go back to the seller. Or you got what you paid for. Or call Verical who took over Vodavi and see what they say.

cswroe, the 18v supply is used for the 303 and 304-model voicemail units. Vodavi switched to a 12v supply for the 305-model units. Also, both supplies are AC on the output, not DC. The amazon link you offered is for a DC supply. But thanks anyway.
