We have an IP Office 500 v2 version 8.1(67) and two remote VPN phones. One keeps rebooting and gets stuck at discover. The other is stuck at discover and won't go any further. Both phones were fine last week. One user is on Comcast and one is on Optimum. The comcast customer seems to be OK for now but the Optimum customer is not. Anyone have any ideas on this one?

The only times I've ran into this,...... It ALWAYS turned out to be an Internet and/or bandwidth issue.

Netgear Prosafe. We are thinking too that it might be the customer on Optimum may have plugged the phone into the wrong port on one of the times we asked him to unplug and replug the phone. Not sure. We went onsite to the office and rebooted the Netgear. The Comcast guy came back but not the other guy. I have an appointment with him tomorrow.

No, its the netgear crap.
look at the SA Lifetime. When that expires, it reboots the phone. You set it for the seconds you want, before it will reauthenticate. So you can set it to 24 hours, and make sure you plug it in at 2200 so it reboots when not on the phone

Thanks, we currently have it set to 16 hours from 8. It may actually be the phone itself in this case. keys are not responding when he tries to enter craft mode. He is shipping me the phone.
