We have an OS 7400 that we recently installed an OAS card into and have purchased some Mobex executive licenses. The basic Mobex service (ringing a cell phone when an in-house extension is called) is working fine. When I set up a few extensions for the Executive license I have a bit of an issue when trying to transfer a call using the cellphone. That issue is the call is not going to the extension which was dialed but a different extension. Example: transfer to 2204 gets me ext 2222. There isn't any sort of forwarding set up that would cause this to happen. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

What have you setup your mobex code as in your number plan?

If you are referring to the Mobex station number, I have tried various but started with 311,312,313. Also went to 3120 & 3121.
None of those made any difference.
Transferring to 22xx always gets 2222.
Transferring to 24xx always gets 2244.
Transferring to 23xx gets the high/low alternating error tone.

I just discovered that when I initiate the transfer on the cell phone by dialing #8 and then start to enter the extension number to which I was to transfer that the transfer is made after I enter 2 digits instead of waiting until the entire 4 digit extension is entered.

Further information:
If I punch in the extension numbers VERY FAST during the transfer process it works.
This is some timing setting that needs lengthened.
Anyone have an idea which one?
Sorry for all the posts. I appreciate any help.

Never seen this but done very little mobex (even less exec).
I would look at things like: first digit delay, and your interdigit timers
What trunks are the calls comming in on and going out on? What software version is the system?
What does the SMDR show for digits dialled?

Thanks for some direction.
I'll check the 1st digit delay and interdigit timer and the SMDR.
The calls are going in and out on a trunk group that contains all our PRI lines.
The software is version 4.53c
Thanks again for the suggestions.
I'll let you know what I find out.
