HI! I've never worked on a UK Bcm 50 , it is installed in Canada, i'm having a problem with getting the Caller ID to show name ,, Yes it worked previously on other system, I have number working only and have the Name Display 1st set, i have tried F811 when L1 called and it only show number and port 061,, there are a few different terms used that i haven't seen before like :Tune Line :None to 0-8,, There are a few other terms ,,Rec. at Exch.,,And a few others ,, Anybody have a clue. Thanks a Ton.

Place a Caller ID unit at the DMarc and see what comes in there. Maybe the CO is only sending the number. Some clients only pay for that, not the name.

HI! Dave they have both, i'm not sure if i have to tweak the system cause it is a UK British telecom system , don't they have a different line settings then Canada?? Thanks

Open BCM monitor and then call in and see if CLID shows on the monitor, if so check your programming.

Yes name and number are being sent, i think the problem related to being regionally set for UK Caller id and i'm not sure what can be changed to make it work/? I may have to reset to North america. and reprogram along with keycodes.

UK does use a different protocol so your probably right. They have caller ID before first ring when ours is before second ring.

I have reset to North america and all is good the strange thing is i did'nt loose voice mail greetings and mailbox settings etc. and i did,nt have to enter in keycode file , but i think the voicemail was set for North america already . Bonus
