8/24 with DR5
Extension 221 and 222 each have 2 CAP's, left CAP is used for internal dialing, right CAP is used to transfer to cell phones. Out of the blue when you push button 16 on left CAP on extension 222 the whole system would lock up and then reboot. Even if you performed a button inquiry that button would lock the system up and reboot, replaced the CAP and problem went away.
I never seen this before, have you?

I've seen very strange behavior with CAPs - especially on XC software. In most cases the replaced CAP works just fine in another location.
Time to switch to IP Office with Receptionist Console!
