I am using call recording and can not change user names for reporting purposes in the oaisys under lists and other resources - lists - extenion lists - all extensions in the oaisys management studio - last column (import status)says it was imported by pbx - i can not update users and can not find anywhere that I can change them - everything is greyed out. Is there some way to reimport the list from the pbx?

Do you have an ACD system onsite as well? I ask just to know if you have a direct connection to the CIX or if you are connected to an existing Net Server using replicator services.

The list of extensions is generally automatically updated through the CTI link. It should, by default sync at 3am. You may want to look at the port status under the CTI link to make sure it is st to sync.

Yes, I am running ACD as well. CTI link shows up and running - I will check the configuration and make sure it is scheduled.

If you have an ACD, then it is common to have the Tracer connect to the ACD's Net Server using ACD replicator services. You may want to check Level 2 OAI on the ACD to see it that is set to sync with the CIX as well.

I can not find where it is configured at - is it on the recorder server or on my toshiba mas?

I did look at the LVL02AI Service and tried to sync it manually and it was already checked to sync at midnight every night. Was I looking in the correct place? any other suggestions?

The Oaisys recording software would not be running on the Toshoba MAS. The LEVL2OAI connects to the Toshiba CIX and will sync the names as they appear on the telephone's display. The ACD agent names would be manually updated inn the ACD admin.

The common configuration is for the Oaisys recorder to use Net Server replication services. In this configuration the Oaisys will connect to the Toshiba ACD's Net Seerver to get its information instead of connecting directly to the CIX. This eliminates the need for a 2nd CTI license. The information that Oaisys recieves is from the MAS. It will also get ACD agent information.

The setup for the CTI connection in Oaisys is within the Oaisys client. If you log in with Admin rights, you should see an Admin tab. Look for the CTI- Toshiba replication. Click on Status.

I did look at that and on the oaisys recorder - I have a green link light but confused - on the oaisys recorder it is set to port 1102 and on the pbx it is set to port 1100 - when i change the recorder to 1100 to match the pbx it will not connect and I get the red light. Am I confused?

I think I found it - the replication service was disabled - guess the tech who set it up did not enable the service. I enabled it to automatic and started it. I will see if it updates. Thanks.
