I posted a similar problem here back in July:

That problem corrected itself, but the same problem is happening on another extension.

Caller calls in at night, receives night greeting and selects "2" to reach CRA 2503.

After ringing the phone, the call returns to the CRA - Not the Voice mail (2500), therefore it gets stuck in a loop.

I have toggles system forward on/off/on/off to no avail and defalted the phone too (394).

My session manager is 8.200, so I can't get in right now until I get updated software.


I read tons of posts here, and I want to mention that all 4 mods do a great job, as well as the members who help out here.

Also, thanks to Sundance for the customers who have called after finding us here.

Any suggestions???

Unfortunately I don't have that software version so I can't dial in and check. The thing to look at here is CRA2503 and see how its setup, next thing to look at is your system fwd paths and all timers that would be involved. It may not be one thing causing this but severeal issues.

Ooooooooooops .. the system in question - I should mention ... is 8.224. Waiting on the proper software. 8.200 won't connect.

Just an update. I did get som 8.223 Software and was able to access the system, after all.

The latest "adventure" was a failed HD on the EVMC this past Friday.

Anyway, a belated thanks to Sundance, and a special thanks to DnRComm for going beyond the call of duty and offering to help out.
