DK424 with PRI. Phone company is sending caller ID, numbers only. Calling in or out works fine, caller ID is not display on phone. Outbound caller ID works fine. Inbound just does not display. Also have T1 board in system. If calls sent in through T1, no caller ID display that way either.

Ok, so prog 17 says that system is using *09 for DID routing. Must DID be routed some other way for ANI to show up on the phones?

There's more to prog 17 than *09 routing. Check the manual on what LEDs to turn on.

I must admit that the fine manual is substantially confusing. However, I have tried a number of combinations of the LEDs and the most I can do is to stop calls from routing. At present I have LEDs 3,4,5,6 &7 turned on. Calls still route, meaning they must be using *09, but no caller ID on LCD. If I turn LED 8 on, calls stop routing. If I turn LED 5 on without LED 7 being on calls also stop routing. I found one reference to program *12, but never found any information on that program. The one reference says it pertains to ANI and LCDs.

LEDs 3-7 sounds right but you have to make sure you specify the correct line numbers for the PRI. Btw, if LED 5 is on then it is not routing using *09. Even so that won't affect the ANI display.

Yes, if I have LED 5 turned on without having LED 7 turned on the calls into the PRI stop routing. To me that proves that I have entered the correct range of lines. There is also a mode command, I think it's 60, on the phones to turn the display on. That is on as well. Still, when calls route in on the PRI the phone display "Line 59 ringing." I'm specifying lines 37 thru 59 in Program 17. I usually test this when no other calls will be coming in. So, 59 would be the highest line.

Just for kicks, press the Page softkey under the phone display when the phone rings and see if that shows you the ANI number.

Yup, tried the page key on the phone. I can't get the phone to display the called number or the caller number.

If they are sending name and number you will get nothing. You might want to drag a CIX out there and test to see what you get.
