AT&T should be able to do this with a Terminal Hunt Group. Old technology, but I just installed a new one last month.

Arrogant Telephone and Telegraph has switches that can do most anything IF they want to accommodate you.

Goodness gracious tiny carriers show ALL lines to be the same BTN if you ask nicely. For some reason, like desiring to drive customers to CLECs, Arrogant Telephone and Telegraph may not choose to let their switch techs do this.

I think it's more that you need to know what to ask for; the people answering the phones are pretty clueless.

When I talk to them, I ask them to write verbatim what I’m saying, even though they have no idea what it means.

Thanks. I will have to try again and ask about the Terminal Hunt Group. However, I spent 3 weeks back and forth before they told me they could not do it.

Any idea what group within ATT would handle the Terminal Hunt Group?

When I spoke with ATT before, I kept getting referred because the person I was talking to could not write an order for this or that. Then they would have to find someone who could. Then that person could only do so much. It was pretty exhausting.

Unless you have flex-IP then I wouldn't waste my time trying to get them to do it.

I just call our account rep and order what I need, never dealt with a special department. They're just business lines, not IP anything.

Don't know if its still true but terminal lines use to be cheaper since your not using multiple numbers.
