A customer uproot all of there gear and planted it in a new location, when I went over to fix the trouble, they had wired it incorrectly (phones died when I touched the block) when they asked what the trouble was I had informed them the wiring was terminated incorrectly and that this could void the warranty well they popped a cork and the guy that did the wiring called me and yelled about how his wiring was correct and I dont know what im talking about (he is their it guy) I put all of the yelling into context it was alot more detailed than I am explaining. Anyway I think I am going to have to let them go and they still owe for the orig install($!%!@#$%!#@% #$%@#%@#%)

If a system is moved by other than us the warranty is automatically voided according to our contract. Yours should spell out the conditions too so they can't argue with you, just point to the contract and say you signed it didn't you read it?
Sounds like this customer has no intentions of paying you the balance or they would of had you move the system. If they don't have the money for that don't expect what they owe you from before. Take them to small claims and lien the buildings, both the one they are in and the one with your wiring.

I am an IT guy for my company and I am in the situation mentioned previously, of the boss telling me to figure out our NEC system so he doesn't have to shell out the big bucks to the Certified techs. First of all, I am behind the guys with the certs 100% on this one. I have certs in Networking, etc...(I take pride in that as I paid my dues) and I know the value of learning. I have been reading this forum for a year and have learned many valuable things in administering our system. Just want to say thanks to all for providing help and answering questions. I do value your knowledge.

We all have our burdens to bare. Wait till you have to give tech support to the temp who answers the phone on how to program a key voice because the boss is to cheap or the installer just hooked up the voysys and left telling them it would work after the 30 min boot process. True stories. Tip and ring whats that. A meter whats that.is the thing that looks like omega is that ohms. Why won't this multi line digital system phone work when I hook it up at home. All we can do is grin and bare it and thank god for idiots and lightening they keep us working..lol
