Hello , im trying to cut costs so im considering switching to vonage. Would vonage work with the ucx5000 by just plugging it in?

If your business depends on your phone lines, I would find another way to cut costs. Every customer I've had that tried Vonage on their business phone system has switched back. The Vonage interface equipment randomly locks up and has to be reset to get the phone lines to come back on.

Yes and no. Every Vonnage account I have EVER hooked into ANY phone system eventually gets pulled out because of DTMF distortion (being able to dial through the auto attendant) and/or sound quality. This was also done after I told them not to to begin with and a pile of headaches claiming the phone system was the problem when simple logic tells you otherwise.
