A DX120 with a extra cab died. So the owner went cheap and replaced it with a DX80 since he only needed 18 phones. I replaced the unit, installed the CF VM from the DX120. All went pretty well. But now two phones show messages waiting even though they have no voice boxes. They were extensions 176 and 177 and are now 116 and 118. I tried resetting the boxes, deleting them, adding them, then deleting again. Still the phones show messages waiting. I have KeylinDx and have used that all along.

Did you do a cold start on the cabinet when you got it? Have you tried to turn off the message light with the dial access code?

The DX80 was bought from a refurbisher. It had been defaulted when I installed it.

You still have to default it when adding the voice mail back.

OK, so just backup the DB, init and reload the DB? Or do I have to redo the programming?

Do you mean intercom #3? I have not tried that yet. When I rebooted the system, the phone display came up before the VM was initialized and it did show messages waiting.
