Have a weird one... This has been up and running for years now, no changes except since May 2013. Software version 7.32 Customer calls in saying inbound isn't working. by the time I get dialed in and downloaded the config the calls start to come in.
I look at the card config and I see slots 1,2,3 with 32 ESIUs Slot 6 voicemail and slot 7 with 8DIDU and slot 8 with 4 DIDU. those trunks start at 13.
I check and verify they are set to DIDs in programming. How the hell are they making outbound calls???
Had customer place call and it says LINE 07. Check the names of the trunks and trunks 1-12 are labeled as LINE 01- 12 and the DID trunk are labeled as DID 1-12.
Further questioning and digging through paperwork shows it as having an expansion cabinet.
So I have them power off, top cabinet (expansion) stays lit until that button is pushed. Ask to power on the bottom (main) and top remains dark until power is pressed there. Once up able to make calls, but still not able to see the second cabinet via web pro or pcrpo from multiple computers. Programing in 10-03 is all ther for slot 9-16 though (there is 1 additional analog station card in the expansion). Power of reseat everything and no change.
So, I send up an expansion card and have another vendor visit site with a processor and another cabinet.
Change out expansion card - no dice. Roll power supplies - no dice, change out processor (new processor has older version of software - no dice, pulled all the cards and defaulted system - no dice. Still unable to see second cabinet, but it works. (just doesn't power down with first). During start-up I saw (via DIM) cards in 1st cabinet initialize but never saw the 2nd cabinet's cards.
We didn't go through the effort of swapping out cabinets and we failed to send up the expansion cable, but doubt that that would be those would be cause.
Not sure if we are willing to spend $ on the tokens for this just yet, I am sending the cable to site and hopefully that fixes it, but as it stands right now, everything from a user's perspective works.
Also, found out that NEC did put out a new software version in May of this year for the Aspire version 7.88. This slipped past me but interesting that they put one out. I though 7.32 was going to be the last.

I have seen a similar issue with a site. Try powering up the main cabinet and wait for the system to come up then power up expansion cabinet. I had a site that the expansion cabinet would not work if powered up together. Luckily they where upgrading to different system. I swapped out Cabinets, Power Supply's,Expansion blades,CPU's and could not figure out what was causing the issue. I also tried different software between 7.32 and 7.88

We tried all different power up sequences to no avail.
Like I said, the strange part the cabinet is working, just not displaying in Web Pro and PCPro
