I have an NEC Electra Elite IPK II with a DSS circuit and 40 DID lines. What options do I have for call logging. I don't need anything fancy, just incoming call number and date/time.
I saw a few software options online, but they were really pricey - $500 or more. I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative (or free would be nice).
Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Cheapest way would be to point the SMDR traffic via TCPIP to a PC with hyperterminal or something simial on it to gather the data. The IPKII requires a license, and is an unsupported product so you may not be able to find one. As far as software goes, $500 IS CHEAP.
Most of the call accounting solutions I install cost several thousand plust the cost of the PC/server.
