Can someone translate this code for me? The Admin phone simply says call technician and clear alarm. I asked the users, no one observed any problems, with the exception of one IP phone user commenting that her phone recycled a few times the other day.

Paula, Here is what I got from the Axxess 8.2 Manual. Maybe someone else can help you with the explaination.

203 Voice Processing Unit: Communications Link Down – The system has detected
a loss of communications between the phone system and the Voice Processing PC. This
alarm is generated whenever the PC crashes or is rebooted, the RS232 cable is disconnected,
or a communications channel is rendered inoperable (e.g., due to a bad serial
port or RS232 cable). First verify that the problem still exists by placing a call to a valid
voice mail extension number.

DeWayne is right. Press your Voicemail button on a phone and see if your voicemail responds. If says unplugged, your going to have to reboot the voicemail PC.

Thank you both! Voicemail seems to be working fine. I'll check it out further if it happens again.
