Hello,
We started having a problem last week that our system stopped sending and receiving caller ID information.

Our Contact center software is showing everything correctly, but the info is not showing on the telephones.

Outgoing caller ID is showing the phone number but is showing "Unknown caller" instead of our company name.

Our carrier stated that our PBX is causing the problem. Any help is appreciated.

Let's start out with some basic house cleaning. Log into the cabinet with DB Studio and issue a Hard Reset of the system. If that doesn't work, please post back with the type system complete with what version of software you're running. Also what type of lines are feeding the system?

I've done a hard reset of the system. As well as a re-boot of the 3 computers that run it as well.

You'll have to forgive me as I'm not a phone techie. But I'll try to explain myself as best I can. Our system is 9.100 our call center software is 4.0
we have 3 PRI lines that feed our system. Everything was fine until last Tuesday morning. Our Vendor and Inter-tel has been looking into the problem since then and has not been able to figure it out.

I changes something yesterday and had an interesting result. I changed my outgoing caller ID from my extension from my local number to out toll free number and that passed successfully to my home phone. When I changed it back to my local number, it did not pass to my home phone.

Well - the problem is finally solved. It was caused by our local phone carrier SBC being bought out by AT&T, and losing our caller ID in the transition. Great.
