Hello everyone,

So everyone who helped me on my previous post with the trunk line being busy, I have fixed it. The problem was I was not clearing the old data correctly and resetting the phone system the proper way. Now, I can make an outgoing call perfectly, without the line being busy.

The only thing now with the line that I am having trouble with is getting it to ring when someone is calling the main line. Every Dterm has a direct trunk line appearance key. When someone calls in it doesn't ring. What can I do to make the trunk line direct appearance key ring when someone calls? I have it programmed for a trunk line direct appearance but it doesn't do anything. What are the Commands you have used to get this to work?

Thank you.

Or if you would just prefer it to ring an extension or group of extensions, set the DIT information in commands 3002 to 3005 (there are more settings in Cmd 30 for modes a & b if you need to use them)

Thanks. Yes, this is exactly what I need to do. I need obviously the Dterm's to ring, but I would also need analog phones in the system and faxes to ring to. I now have the starting extension number 221-240 I believe. Would I need to create a Hunt Group for this???

There is a facility called group call by pilot number where all phones in the group ring when a call goes to the pilot number and the first to answer gets the call. However I would need to check the book for that and as I am currently on a ship cruising the Coral sea (just passing time till dinner), I will have to leave it to someone else to answer!
