Pulling my hair out here!

Somehow I have a CIX that is refusing dial 9 for LCR, comes up with a dialed number restricted message but I have no DRL set up and LCR is setup to a valid OLG.

If I change the Flex code to be directed to a OLG it works but as some as we set it to access LCR it gets blocked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are the stations assigned to a valid LCR group?

It is the strangest thing.

When Flex code 9 is set to Access LCR I get a Dial Number Restricted message and fast busy.

When Flex code 9 is set to access OLG 1 direct it works as it should.

All of the route definitions and schedules seem to be correct.

Make sure in Destination Restriction that DRL 1 is assigned as a Deny table.

Please forgive me if it seems that I am talking down to you but I have had the hardest times with these. They seemed counter-intuitive to me until I finally grasped how they work.

If the table is set to Allow and there are no entries in Program 533 then ALL calls using LCR are denied because there is nothing to allow. A Deny table with no programming in Program 533 will deny nothing (everything allowed).

The reason these go through when the OLG is directly accessed is because, by default, Destination Restriction is not enabled in OLG programming (Program 306 FB 14). ~ Mike

DRL 1 is set as a deny table with no entries in 533 and the problem still exists.

Never had any issues with DRL's I have a basic grasp of them, but I have never had the system block 9 as an access number. If I was getting restricted after dialing 9 + xxx then I would know what is happening, but as soon as I dial 9 the call is blocked.

We had a weird one once where "9" didn't work because a tech disabled LCR access in COS 1. Maybe something happened there? ~ Mike

Yeah I thought about that but LCR access is granted in COS1

Man Jason you have a weird one here---

You said the instant you pressed a "9" you would get dial restricted. For grins, I made our DRL an allow table with no entries and then made a test call. I could dial a 9 and then would get restricted when entering any digit after this.

How do your FRLs look on the OLGs and stations? By default they should be "1".

You could try a different DRL on a station for testing purposes. By default all tables are deny tables with no entries.

When do you get the dial restricted prompt? Right after pressing 9 or can you dial any digits after the 9?
