Don't have many Partner customers these days but I expanded an ACS 509 card to have a carrier and a 308 card.

Their "large" voicemail card was dead, I put in a "small" card and it roared to life,"Welcome to Partner Mail."

I suppose a lot of people would have a working "large" card but I don't have a manual and no prints are in the regular ACS manual, think this is a Release 0 as there is no "R" version on the nameplate.

Can anyone PM a manual for the "large" voicemail to: Phones @ dock.net

Thanks so much, Bracha

Avaya's website has manuals in pdf format for lots of legacy AT&T/Lucent/Avaya telephone equipment.

There should be a manual for the Partner Voice Messaging card there. grin

You mentioned Partner Mail. That was the stand alone system....A modified PC...The Partner Voice Messaging is the PCMCIA that slides into an available slot on the front of the processor.

I'm a little confused here, do you have a large or small PC Mail, you said the Large was dead. If so your vm ports and line assignments will remain the same. you should only have to re-do the messages and maybe move some box's around. If you can't find the manuals as Dexman said I could shoot them your way.

I have the "large" PC card that goes into the 509.

I tried putting in a "small" card I had spare and it worked.

Have I gummed up the works switching cards or will it be fine if I put in a new(er) "large pc card?

I get my manuals off wedophones and don't have the Avaya site so if you could point me to it or send the pc card manual I would greatly appreciate it.

I tend to help people keep the stuff they shouldn't have to throw away, Thanks, Bracha

No you haven't gummed it up. You have mail.

The only real difference between the small and large cards is the number of supported mailboxes. The small has four while the large has sixteen. General programming is the same for both. smile
