We replaced a TVS75 on a TDA50 with a TVA50. We did the reset and defaulted the VA. We have the DPT integration working. The quick setup went smoothly. I added all ports and trunks to service group 1. In 601 on the TDA I set the proper port and slot for VM1. The TVA shows a solid green light. The VM access button on the phones works. We were able to record prompts. The AA will not pick up. I have the schedule defined. I have delay answer for day and night both set for 0. The AA just will not pick up even if I change it to day mode manual.

Hi,
You have your DIL in 10.2 and DID in 10.3 set up for the correct exts?
Shouldn't it be ext 500 to goto VM AA?
What you made a 601 ICD group? on 3.5.1 Group settings, Overflow No Answer tab, have the time out and manual redirection defined? We changed our prompt so our 601 ICD group directs to Destination 500#21

500 goes to VM. Checking the settings with PT programming. Hard to do without Console.

You say you set port and slot for VM in TDA?

If you had a TVS, that would already be there and no change would be needed. If the TVS answered the TVA would also.
Just point your ring group to whatever ext you dial to get VM.

Found out what it was. Apparently the old TVS never answered during the day. Nobody knew that. They had a NS button which everyone had forgotten about because they had swapped the main extension for another one and the labels no longer matched. So when I changed the overflow timer to 10 seconds the AA picked up. I never tested it past about 10 rings so that was it. So night and day AAs are working. Also had to change the mode from automatic to PBX.
