hello I have a mitel axxess phone system and am trying to find out how I know if I have a PRI card in it. the system has a T1/E1 card but I am told that does not necessarily mean PRI. is there any way to get an inventory of the cards present via telnet? thanks

Telnet will not give you that information. In fact, database programming won’t tell you either.
The only difference between a T1/E1 and T1/E1/PRI is the PAL chip present on the board. You would have to pull the card and look for the chip.

does the system need to be powered down to pull the card or can it be pulled, looked at and then put back in without adverse affects(aside from dropping anyone who might be on a call) thanks

All cards in that system are hot-swappable, except the CPU/CPC and, of course, the power supply.
