Ok now that I have gotten older and stupid and deaf. I'd like to know if anyone can tell me if I can use my PC to contact people as TTY?

I always dread getting those relay calls... usually Nigerians with the overpay check scam. But if you want to connect to another TDD directly, all of the older modems supported 50 baud which, if my memory serves, is what speed they connect at. I know I have a stack of Hayes Accuras in the barn-o-sh.t if you need one. Probably can even still do half the AT command set from memory thanks to a misspent youth on BBSs.
