Hi, need help with one of our clients where I recently replaced their interchange with an mp5-cob. They are claiming that they are experiencing vmail cutting-out which happens on both internal and external. For external it could be a lot of factors like...can be caused be the carrier lines or people simply opted to drop the call but for internal ones not sure.

Any signs that I need to watch-out on this or is there any way of checking internal vmail cutting-out - troubleshooting?

I am having a hard-time replicating the problem although I've asked our client to save those internal ones so I can listen to them to match their claim. I've installed the cob last November 2013 and they started having these concerns last Jan 2014.

New COB or refurb? What model rev...early ones had issues. If you can get a sample message you can compare it against the daily log to see when and how it came in.

listen to those saved messages. Is there noise on line or silence. There are timers for that and the vm could be thinking call is done. Also the high pitch womans voice will get you too.
