Just installed our 2nd SL1100, twice in the last week the 2nd SL1100 has lite up the message lite on all phones except 101-103. When they have this light on if you go off-hook the phone will ring 1 time and then stop, if you make a call and stay on for over 10 seconds you will hear a tone (like a camp-on ) on both the phone and thru the handset, this repeats every 10 seconds. We cleared it both times by rebooting after trying to use the code for clearing all messages (didn't work). X's 101-103 have a message button for x250 (vert) the others don't but do have a key for x250 so they can answer an incoming call.
X's 101-103 say have no messages in 250 when this happens
any help ?

Did you perform the cold start (system initialization) when you powered the system up for the 1st time?

yes, and 3.50

Check your tail/wiring make sure it's not shorting out.

All wiring rechecked and is fine. Am going to try putting the virtual message button on another phone and remove the virtual button and ringing on another

you may, at this point, default the system. see if the symptoms still exist with system in an out of the box condition.

Thanks I'm going to try those 2 other things first, then I'll will default and start again
