Hi,
I have a system that have lost AA. One technician said it's the VM card that's bad. So I bought another VM card but before I installed it I had another tech review the system and he said it's the sys programming that's not correct and that VM is not the issue. I don't know who to believe. When I dial 296 to go to AA I get the generic "I'm sorry I did not hear your selection..."

Can someone assist me in ironing out the programming. Or at least route me to where I should look for in programming.

I would go with the programming is not correct or in odd nite service mode.. Sounds like the VM is working with that system prompt..

BTW w/ DID callers can leave message in extensions mailboxes. With AA not working so we can't check VM remotely.

Sounds like someone deleted the auto attendant greeting, or put the VM in alt greeting mode with no greeting recorded.

on this phone system is AA in the phone system or on the voicemail card. I have login access to both webpro and elitemail lx but don't know where AA is located.

It's in the Elitemail LX.

Look in the menu on the left for Call Management/Opening Boxes/Greetings.

That's all I can give you for free.
