Ah HA! You are trying to make a Mitel that is expecting specification grade service to function in the whimsical world of broadband fairy dust.

You have, as I see it, two choices. You can play with the disconnect timer and hope you get it right or you can visit Mike Sandman's site and get a CPC unit for each trunk.

The good old standard for PBX service was open tip trunks. Not only did they minimize collisions, they did a great job of making positive disconnects. I am guessing all the systems you are having problems with are all loop start lines because the provider can't give you ground start, which is very typical of the cable company providers. So, you have to try and make their "almost as good" telephone line service behave like standard telco provided service. Visit Sandman's site and after a couple of hours of playing in Mike's toy land, purchase, at least, one CPC device and see if it corrects the problem.
