Yeah there's a mod for the battery but nowadays it's just as easy to find a replacement for the original on Digikey. We have one with 70 or so phones all relying on a few batteries taped together and hanging out the front of the cabinet. Customer changes the batteries once a year but we still live in fear of that phone call.

Yeah, I tried to convince them last time to get a new system or at least a used system from this decade that can be easily supported and parts can be easily purchased, but I'm faced with "maybe next time, for now just fix it.." So I guess I'll be getting more familiar with this system in time...
At least they are up an running for now, and I'll try to fix the minor programming issues next week.
