Has anyone heard of anything like this:

Have gotten reports from employees that extension 23xxx is hard to reach. Calls get bounced to other extensions even though caller is dailing right extension. This happens even when "line" for extension if free.

I do not know where to even begin looking into this.

Intercom, DID, auto attendant? Need more details.

Ask the users to watch their displays for clues when the calls get "bounced".
