Here is a challenge for the most experienced Toshiba Geek out there. Are you up for it?
I have a Toshiba CIX670 that I'm trying to set up LCR tables. My customer has a market expansion phone number for almost all 50 states. When one of their marketing reps places an outbound call they want it to go out on the DID for the area code associated with that state they're calling. For some states, like Idaho, there is only one area code but for some states like California there are many area codes a sales associate could dial but it needs to go to a single area code (DID) like Southern California or Northern California on a specific DID of the OLG.
HELP!

Did that many years ago for a Mitel client. It took a lot of looking in phone books for area codes (no internet back then) plus we had to change routing via time of day for the least cost. Is this for least cost or for what caller ID number is being pushed out? If what I think you're doing is correct, you will have to spend a lot of time sorting through the area codes and matching it to the number or numbers you want it to go out on. My advice plan it out all on paper first and then program it one state at a time.

It would be easier to just present a toll free number.
I don't think you will be able to show every area code in the country. If you have a basic 2 cabinet CIX 670 you may be able to do up to 48. With a CIX 670 expanded with a BEXU you could go up to 128. Per wikipedia, there are 279 area codes in the US.
The main issue is to present a different area code, you have you use a separate OLG. To call out a separate OLD, you have to setup Call by Call and corresponding LCR
If you had a large CIX with a BEXU, that could do uo to 128 OLGs and Call by call indexes, you would have to create 128 OLGs, with 128 Call by call indexes, and 128 corresponding routing tables, then 128 default phone numbers for each OLG.
A CIX 670 without a BEXU would be limited by 48 Call by call indexes.
This is after you figure out which of the area codes you want to use. You said probably 2 for California. A few other states may want to show multiple numbers.
Expect a couple of long days if you do this. Also, just a warning. When you setup Call by call, the existing calls get dropped.
