Does anyone know the code to marry a new Scout 900 handset to an old base?

Don't believe you could. I know from the factory there was a sticker on the base and on the handset behind the battery with similar codes...if they didn't match it would not work. There were 9 different bases with matching handsets. Never heard of or saw a way to change the frequency codes. Maybe someone else has.

That's what I thought, but I just bought one from a referb company and the stickers don't match but the phone works. If it can be done, I have a lot of good bases and a lot of bad handsets.
