We recently replaced a SVMi-20e in an OS7200. One thing we noticed is that when a caller goes to leave a message in a mailbox, they hear the mailbox greeting, then "recording", but after "recording", there is no "beep". There used to be a beep on the original SVMi-20e. Everything else is fine with the replacement voice mail. The software in the replacement voice mail is Release 5.3 V3: April 22, 2009. Is there a software patch? I have checked the voice mail and cannot find where this beep is in the prompts. Is there even a beep prompt?

One of the systems I have installed is also 5.3 v3, April 22, 2009 and it does not "beep"...
It just says "recording"
It's been that way, and the client says this is normal to them.
I guess you could find where the "sound file" " recording" is stored and replace it with just a "beep" sound file... that might work... =}
just my 2 cents...
TimeWarner provides.

Thank you. Maybe that is the way it is on software version 5.3 V3, April 22, 2009.
