I ran into a 3m block that was a hand off for verizon t1 circuit. It was labeled on the side "7010-50". It looks like a krone block. I tried a 110, krone & box tools, but they didn't work. I ended using a tweaker to push the cross connect in and snipping the excess. Thanks for the help!

That is...indeed...a Krone block...so...a Krone blade is needed.

Verizon has been using krone blocks particularly in FIOS installs . I usually remove them and the sloppy wiring the Verizon tech often does to feed them and run it to a 66 block .

I do carry a krone tool (cheap online) and a krone blade for my punch down tool for use when needed

" tweaker" ???

I've never actually seen a 3M block but perhaps this is the right blade?

Dex, he said he tried a Krone tool and it did not work.

Skip...a tweaker is a small pocket clip screwdriver. Used for "tweaking" pots on oscilloscopes, audio equipment, etc.

I saw the notation about the Krone blade not working. It is not an easy block to terminate to...at least in my opinion.

I have a client that used Krone blocks, and had the actual Krone tool. I found that tool worked much better than the Krone blade I had for the D814 punch tool.
