I seem to be having an issue with being able to manually select mode using system administrator calling in from the outside. The business uses a day/night button programmed on the phone to usually switch from day msg to night msg. However, with memorial day coming up they want to use the holiday feature. It is a small business so they do not utilize the schedule table. I was attempting to change mode this evening, so I would give the business step by step instructions to follow, and upon changing the mode the msg/mode does not actually change. I am only getting the night msg I initially heard when calling the first time. Any suggestions?? I am thinking there is an issue because of the day/night button programmed?? Anyone think of a way around this issue and/or any thoughts?? Unless business wants a service call, my only thought is for them to simply re-record their night or day msg to have a holiday msg and then re-record once the holiday is over....any better suggestions??

No reason that shouldn't work. But when you set the mode to holiday did you give it a minute to switch over? It's not going to happen immediately it will take a bit before the system changes it to the new mode. Also make sure you set all ports to the new mode.
