Team,
I am looking for a *hopefully* best practice to having secondary extensions appear on a number of intertel 550-4000 handsets, so that when a station A receives a call, it lights up on stations B and C as well (which can also pick up the call).

Program a secondary extension key on the phones you want them to appear. You do this under keymap programming and you can specify the number of calls to be at the original station before the call appears on the sets with the SE keys.

Chris's Advice worked like a charm. Now the(the users) want more :-( SUPRISE!
I'm being asked if it's possible to turn off the ring tone on the secondary extensionsthat I setup for a group of phones.

Under 'Programmable Keys', just to the right of the 'Secondary Extension' entry, try setting that value to 0. While in this menu, press F1 for Help and some great reading.
