I want to create a mailbox and creat a ring in dest and have a direct dial number go right to the voice mail box
have access 4.1 is that possible?

V4.1, so you prabably have analog loop lines? Or is this a DID?
Create a CRA (Call Routing Announcement) in the Voicemail. Remove the Day/Night greeting from the CRA. In the Digit Translation, leave everything Invalid, make the Timeout the mailbox. Then route your trunk(s) to the CRA.
