I need to run a a Cat 5 underground to a remote building for a AP w/POE. Targets site has been down so I'm not sure whats available to protect a single Cat 5 w/POE. I found this on Ditek site Link Will this work or is there something better?

Just reading their data sheet I'd say yes. They are also a respected name in line protection.

I have used these for Cat 5 without POE. Not sure if they would cause a problem for POE. The termination method is 110 terminals. Click

if you have power at the remote building you might think of adding a small POE switch or a injector there . you could then run fiber and eliminate the need for protection
