Hi,
I have a phone extension that is not allowing me to change the number of rings before going to voice mail. I've learned what I know by rote so I am not really knowledgeable regarding phone systems. I usually go to the phone to configure the number of rings before going to voice mail by entering certain keys in a specific sequence but it seems that for this phone, the last key is not what it should be. Is there a way to find out what the key was changed to or to reset the extension with the proper key sequence (using the administrator phone)?
Thanks

The speed dial key has to be programed on the phone, the redial key is fixed so it's the speed dial key that isn't programed or it's not where you think it is. You wouldn't use the administrative phone to check that, it has to be done in program at port 005. You might try using a different key, it's typically the top key on a row of buttons, if you have a 10 button phone there get a 20 button and try the top key on the right side. Once programed you can return the phone.
