We have a networked site that is getting weird ringing. Sounds like an old rotary phone dialing sound when they answer.
Nothing on the screen but the semi colon :
No errors in alarm report. They use Communicator, and there are entries that say unknownMike. but Mike is not even at his desk, and his phone is idle. Other just say unknown.

No SIP trunks or extensions. We do have a slew of ports open for networking and IP phones.

I had the same issue on an OS100. I know your not using SIP trunks, neither was I. But it most likely is a SIP attack. I numbered my SIP trunks and then when the random ring came in it showed the SIP trunk number. I used a SLT CF-ALL to a virtual, and routed all SIP trunks to the SLT.
