I've been trying to get an IVP8 working properly with a CTX670 system for several days now.

Basically transferring a call to another extension RNA results in a transfer to the VM system, but instead of transferring to the correct mailbox, the call always results in an invalid option error.

The same is true for an extension directly calling voicemail in order to access messages. It just says "invalid option".

I'm assuming the problems are a result of program 579 programing errors. I've tried using the defaults for 579.11-16 as well as trying to use * as the prefix for retrieving messages.

What's even stranger is that most of the time the calls result in an error, but every once in a while an extension calling voice mail will reach the related mailbox and be presented with the option to leave a voicemail instead of checking messages.

Any ideas? Is this a problem with the IPV8's integration patterns? Is there a manual that explains these settings anywhere?

Thanks!

The integration prefix is not *, it's 92. For call forward from situations, it's 91. These are default in prog 579. It sounds like the integration timer is set too low in the Stratagy. In the IVP8, there is a timer where the integration patterns are. Set it to 20 or 25 and reboot the IVP8.

It was set to 20. I bumped it up to 25 and the system is now working perfectly. Thank you!
