Have a SBX that has been in place for 3-4 years. Customer has been having problems with the voicemail. Callers can leave a message but the VM does not indicate a new message. Problem seems to occur mainly when mailbox gets a high number of messages. Have asked customer to be sure to delete older messages, but customer has asked if there is a way to limit the number of messages or have a "Mailbox Full" and not allow any more until messsages are deleted.
Thanks in advance, John

Modify the voice mail COS (pgm 238)
I suggest you use change the message retention time from its default 15 days to something shorter, and drop the number of messages per box as well. If the customer can't delete old messages in a timely manner, then the system needs to do it for them.
