We really like the new Panasonic KX-NT5xx IP phones.
Our customers have experienced a few minor issues, we ask if other dealer have seen the same. These are reported and replicated issues by Panasonic tech support. More experiences may help.
1. The audio goes dead after certain sequences involving a press of the MESSAGE key. PROG + EXIT restores.
2. 2.5mm headset jack stays active after call resulting in hiss. OFF HOOK/ON HOOK clears.
3. The call waiting triple "beep-beep-beep" received while on speakerphone produces echo to outside callers for a few seconds.
4. Handsfree intercom to handsfree intercom results in 500ms feedback squeal. (a reason to use headset)

I have experienced the issue of the Feedback on the NT5xx IP phones I put in about 3 months ago. After spending lots of time with Tech Support, I eventually got the answer from them that said the feed back was because the mic was hot on the new system and it would pick it up on the speakerphone and they were working on something but the only thing they said would work right now id to disable the call announce tone on the intercom until they could fix it.
Been waiting to hear back but nothing so far.
I am not impressed with the quality and the functionality. I also have a need to wall mount a phone and I assumed that it came with it.... Wrong.. I have to find one and order one.

I have had complaints about the sound on these phones, but it was because the codex is set to 722 which is HD quality sound. this made the sound very clear and picked up everything. I changed it to 711 and they were all happy
